Møt Småtjukken // iPhone piercing

My iPhone is getting pretty old and slow, so obviously I needed to get a new charm to freshen the poor old trooper up. I found this cute budgie-piercing (What on earth do you call them in English? In Japan everyone just calls them ピアス (piasu)?) over at Village Vanguard in Shimokitasawa. It seems like the piercings for phones are getting quite popular in Japan lately, since the iPhone doesn’t have any hook or hole that you can attach regular cell-phone-strap-bling. The piercings just plug right into the mic.

*TO THE GOOGLE MACHINE*

It’s in fact a Cockatiel! In America Budgies are ‘Parakeets’. (But in this case Budgie is just fine as it is yellow and green.)Cockatiels have the little crest of feathers on the head and the orange dots on the cheeks. I am a bird nerd so I apologize if this comes off as rude.

Haha, thank you. I just thought it was a cartoonish budgie, because they had another one that was blue and white with the typical budgie coloring. I thought the little fancy thing on top was just for fun 😉
