Deja-vu

(Made for illustrationfriday.com – “Deja-vu”)

I find it incredibly hard to doodle when I am given a topic. Anyway – when I get these deja-vu experiences, it almost always feels like a lot of things are very similar, but some things are also radically different, so I tried to draw two versions of the same thing.

Thank you. It is just regular cheap black pens. I would love to try india ink sometime, but it seems a bit messy to me.

    Wonderful. You’re so talented.
It makes sense to me. I rarely experience deja-vu, and if I do it’s just the small things.

♥ I feel like I have lost a lot of drawing abilities over the past year, I just haven’t taken the time to sit down and draw, so I thought participating to something like illustrationfriday.com will make me draw something, at least once a week.

  7. Great solution and excellent design…a winner!

  8. Love it! Really like the way you’ve blended the two.

great solution to this déjà vu “problem”
    very creative
and I love the way you did the roof. It looks like some weird, out-of-this-world perspective (feels like déjà vu)
