Saturdays in Shinjuku gyoen

The sun was shining, and I had a date in Shinjuku gyoen.

They have little info-boards up everywhere with some information about what kind of trees and plants you are looking at.

The park was for the most part pretty quiet yesterday, but there were a couple of people here and there.

The water underneath this bridge was filled up with koi-fish, but I did not have the right kind of lenses to actually take pictures of them.

And things are starting to blossom!

I love how big some of the trees are.

And how beautiful the sunlight is right around 3pm.

These smelled wonderful.

And then we went and ate at La Boheme…

I had pizza with Gorgonzola and honey.

And pasta with spinach and smoked salmon.

We sat there until it got dark outside, and then headed home.

Tusen takk skal du ha. Jeg bruker ikke like mye tid på å ta bilder lenger som det jeg gjorde før, men jeg synes det er kjekt enda likevel 🙂

I love the trees and the little bridge in picture #7, it looks like a fairytale world!

I feel a bit like it is unreal when I walk around that park, with all the trees cut into little blubbery balls and the cute bridges and the fishes in the water below. I think it will turn even prettier in a couple of months when spring is here 🙂

    What a beautiful park (:

I think so as well! It is a pay-park – you have to have 200 yen to get in, but I think that is perfectly fine 🙂

    Gorgeous photos of the park.

    Så stemningsfulle.
