Today and yesterday

I was cleaning out the space with my camera lenses, and I found my macro lens. I hardly use it anymore, it doesn’t have automatic VR and I don’t have patience to manually focus everything on a lens without zoom these days it seems, but I tried it out a little just for fun.

They give out free little plastic burgers at McDonalds here. These are the ones that accumulated through 2010.

Doodles….

And yesterday I spent some time with a friend ♥ It was nice.

Okay so, Japan being Japan explains a lot of weird things, but… What would the logic be behind giving out plastic burgers? What would you ever use them for…

I love Japanese culture, but sometimes it makes the inside of my head confused. 🙁

Part of the charm, I suppose!

I assume you can attach them to your bags and your things? Even serious salary-men here have these cute little mobile straps with fluffy animals and all things kawaii. It is always fun to see grown men in expensive suits and hello kitty attached to their phone. I don’t know why, but it makes me happy.

Quite different from the Norwegian culture, eh? Don’t think I’ve ever seen a grown man here with a Hello Kitty ANYTHING. ^^ It certainly would’ve put a smile to my face, though.
