IKEA before and after

Quite a while ago I embarked on a project to put together some IKEA furniture to clean up the bookshelf we have upstairs, and lo and behold – it actually worked! I always feel like we have too little storage space in Japan, but at least now all the papers and books are somewhat hidden. It looks a bit cleaner with the white doors and baskets, no?

This is exactly why we need an Ikea in Puerto Rico. You made so much with something so simple! Love!

I am going back to Tokyo in October. It has been three years and I will be so excited! : ) My dreams are coming true.

    I hope you are well.

Wow! How great that you are coming to Japan! How long are you staying, and will you be going to any other parts of Japan apart from Tokyo?

I will be staying for 10 days, a shot duration but a much needed one! I’m also looking to stay in Tokyo, there is so much to do there. I feel I really want to comb through it.

I think in my next few visits I will see Kyoto as well. Your blog is really refreshing for me because I love the subject matter: art and travel. : )

It looks great. I think I want to do something like that myself :3

It made everything look a little less messy, so I am happy with the result. There is usually a lack of storage space in Japanese apartments, so I try to do whatever I can to hide as much junk as possible.
