My birthday coming up. I don’t want to think about it.

August. I left Japan. An important moment. Wasn’t sure just when I was going to get back. This is from the airport in Hong Kong. 4 months later, I am back in Tokyo.

My grandma. She passed away this last spring. I miss her, still. Being so far away, I have not fully taken in that she is not around anymore. I think I can just travel back across the world, and she will still sit there in her chair when I go to meet her.

A total cop-out since this is a bag, and not a piece of clothing.. I do not have a favorite piece of clothing. I own very little clothes at the moment because I have been traveling back and forth between different countries. I did give myself one birthday present this year, and here it is. A Selma bag from Michael Kors + matching wallet. I really do not care much about brand bags, but I really love Michael Kors because of the durability of the leather. I am not the greatest at taking care of my things in a busy every day life, but all the items I have from M. Kors have been through hell and back, and they are still in great shape.

I don’t have an office at the moment, and I work from home, butt the one thing that always follow me around is the Mac.

I took this picture back in 2003, and that is what made me really want to get into photography. It was taken with an old Nikon Coolpix 995, and I held a magnifying glass in front of the lens in order to actually be able to get close enough to get the macro effect.

A picture from Zamami in Okinawa. Best beaches in the world. It seems like a lifetime away already.

Ok, this is kind of a cop-out since this picture was taken by a purikura-machine (and not a person), but I really wanted to show off one of my BFFs. We live similar lives, albeit being worlds apart. So far we have managed to make time to meet each other on three different continents. Thanks for being there for me! Special thoughts goes out to you now in December, remember how awesome you are.
