I always have fun tossing things together over at polyvore. I could never wear this, but it looks cute on the screen. If anyone else has a polyvore account, I would love to see the things you have been making.

If you are in the Kanto area, they have really cheap ski trips for sale right now. I got a round-trip ticket with Shinkansen from Tokyo up to Niigata, plus a one day ski pass at Gala Yuzawa for 6700 yen. It only took about 1.5 hrs to get there, and it was super fun to go downhill skiing again. I have been wanting to try skiing in Japan for the longest time, and finally I can cross it off my bucket list! I didn’t take any pictures from the actual ski resort, because I put my bag in a locker, and it was snowing the whole day, but it was a lot of fun. It was fairly easy to rent ski equipment as well, so if you have a day to spare and feel like skiing, it is absolutely worth the money. (And the hot cocoa in the picture above is anther guilty pleasure. Liquid sugar in a can, yum!)

We just watched this curled up in bed the other evening, perfect way to spend the Christmas season. I loved all the details in their little house, how they used stamps for pictures on the wall and a wristwatch as a wall clock. If you have some time to kill this season, go check it out, I think it will be in Norwegian movie theaters right around now.

Ahh, tumblr has so many gorgeous themes, I just updated my two tumblrs with new pretty suits. (You can click the pictures above to visit them.) They are so pretty I almost want to use it as my main blogging platform (apart from the fact that it lacks stuff in other areas which would drive me crazy). I wish there was blogging platforms like this 11 years ago when I didn’t have my own domains and just wanted to experiment, tumblr looks gorgeous – especially compared to the old livejournal themes from 10 years ago. Sigh. Memories. Anyhow – drop your tumblr adress if you have one, I want to see them all

Oh dear lord, buckyballs was so addicting, and now there is buckycubes? Do want! I have no idea why these things are so fun to fidget with for hours.
