Make something beautiful every day 16/365

// Drunk on twitter – I usually think that having one more glass is a damn good idea, I come up with extremely embarrassing cuddly names for my peers before I want to sing karaoke and dance the macarena.

Make something beautiful every day 15/365

This can barely be considered making anything at all, because all I did was toss together some random images from the new book I got (picture post of said amazing book to follow shortly!). Yet, I have to remind myself that all this 365 thing is about is sketches and having fun. So I am posting this anyway. Total time spent on this: 2 minutes.

Odds and ends;

A little drawing I am working on, I am not very good drawing with pencil and color pencils, so we will see how it goes. Will scan later!

And oh joy! 3 memory cards for under 2000 yen! (About 140 NOK /  25 USD for all three of them together. )

Bangs or no bangs? I can never decide.

& this is Oppie. He lives in our plant and is about the same size as the memory cards.

Make something beautiful every day 14/365

Another long stoppage in the 365 project, but I will just take it at my own pace and eventually I will finish. I am good at perseverance, although I might be slow at times. I have always loved repetitive patterns, and I have been dieing to know the secret to how to make them perfect and seamless for quite a few years now, and because of the wonderful magic of the internet, I now know how to do it. Not a master at it yet, but practice makes perfect. I wanted to make some wrapping papers with repetitive patterns, just pure line art in black and white, and this is what came out of it. I have been thinking about graphic prints for t-shirts, I love them on everyone else, but would never wear such t-shirts myself, so I feel it is kind of a waste to start producing things you can not wear yourself, no?

Caution; drawing in progress.

Some drawings in progress for two different projects. I have been drawing until my hand hurts. Luckily, I am left-handed, so my right hand still works so I can use the mouse for the mac. Unluckily for me, I have a to-do-list (langt som et ondt år!), and it involves homework, which involves handwriting, which involves my left hand. Time to do some hand-exercises and get back to business.

Work in progress

A sneak-peak of something I am working on. The final thing will be HUGE! It takes forever to draw the different parts. I lack a daruma, a lucky kitty, gemstones and treasure chest and 5 yen coins… Hopefully I can finish the other parts for this later this week. For now, I have finished the octopus at last.
